Within the classroom, a multimedia projector will be used as a forum for art history presentations. These are short and will complement your art practice. The beautiful setting, with trees and a lake, will make your time spent all the more pleasurable. Easy to reach from Ealing, Acton, Brentford, Richmond, Hounslow and Hammersmith.

“I love Nelson’s classes. This is my 3rd course with him here at Chiswick Park and I love his teaching technique. It is very easy going and encouraging. It doesn’t matter if you’re a complete novice or have heaps of experience… if you follow his steps you’ll be amazed at the outcome of your very own picture. I have learnt how to draw a portrait… with dots and a little Math thrown in the mix! I’d recommend Nelson’s class to any and everyone, whether it’s for learning a new technique or just for the fun of it.”   Audrey Innes, rating 5/5.

The class, super focused on their paintings…

PAINTING WITH OILS – CLASSICAL 17th CENTURY SPANISH TECHNIQUES.
This course will show you how to use non-yellowing Hot Salt Organic Oil, similar to the methods of Velázquez, Ribera and Zurbarán. This technique is much more archival than conventional modern oil paints. The paint will also be fast drying and non-yellowing. You will also learn how to make pastel tints that look cleaner, more luminous and less chalky than colours mixed with white.

ENROLL NOW: £285 for 10 lessons inclusive of materials!
